Æthersmith crest the fine print, kindly kept

Terms of Service

Last updated September 2026. This is a plain-language summary of the terms for using the Æthersmith Craftworks website. It isn't legal advice; for a formal, enforceable policy please have it reviewed by an attorney. Your actual build is governed by a separate signed Build Agreement.

Using this site

You're welcome to browse, design a playhouse, and join the waitlist. Please use the site honestly and lawfully — don't attempt to break, overload, scrape, or misuse it, and don't submit false information or someone else's details without permission.

Estimates aren't final prices

The design tool gives you an estimate so you can get a feel for cost. It is not a binding quote or an offer to sell at that price. Every build is bespoke, and I confirm the real price and details by hand before any agreement. Options, features, and prices can change as I refine the work.

The waitlist & referrals

Joining the waitlist holds you a place in the queue; it doesn't guarantee a build slot or a delivery date. Commissions open a few at a time each season. The referral offer — a $200 discount for someone who joins with your link, and a $200 thank-you to you once your own build is complete — is a goodwill program I may adjust or end at any time, and it can't be combined in ways that don't make sense or used fraudulently.

Commissioning a build

When you decide to move forward, your build is governed by a separate Build Agreement that we both sign. That agreement — not this page — sets out scope, price, the deposit and payment schedule, timelines, warranty, and responsibilities. Payments are handled through trusted processors, and if you use third-party financing, that lender's separate terms apply.

What's mine

The site's designs, illustrations, photographs, text, the Æthersmith Craftworks name and marks, and the playhouse designs themselves are my intellectual property. Please don't copy, reproduce, or use them to build or sell competing products without my written permission.

The site is provided “as is”

I work to keep the site accurate and available, but I can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted, and content may change without notice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I'm not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the website itself. (Your build is covered by the Build Agreement, not this clause.)

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will reflect any changes. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
